Passive Mode is a function that switches the theft deterrent system from the arming preparation state to the armed state 30 seconds after the key is removed from the key cylinder and all doors, the engine hood and the luggage compartment door are closed, even if the doors are not locked by wireless or door key lock operation.
In Passive Mode, if the following operations are not performed within 14 seconds after a door is opened during armed state, the theft deterrent system will judge that condition as a theft and switch to the alarm sounding state.
